What is a medical examination?

This is a comprehensive medical examination that is performed to assess a person’s health status and detect diseases (including chronic and oncological ones) at an early stage.

Some tasks of medical examination:

  • Identification of diseases that are asymptomatic or with poor symptoms.
  • Health monitoring — allows you to track changes in the patient’s health and adjust treatment if necessary.
  • Prevention is the work of eliminating risk factors, adjusting lifestyle and getting rid of bad habits.
  • Informing people about their health, disease prevention, and the need for regular checkups.
  • Improving the healthcare system — collecting and analyzing data on the health status of the population makes it possible to identify current problems and adapt the health care system to real needs.

The medical examination includes, for example: examination, survey, blood and urine tests, studies using special equipment, a survey on bad habits and lifestyle, vaccinations and preventive measures.
