What is the production factor?

The production factor is an element that influences the working process and working conditions in various fields of activity. The production factor can be either positive or negative, depending on its impact on the health and safety of employees.

Groups of production factors: 

  • Physical factors. These include environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, lighting, and noise levels.
  • Chemical factors. These are substances that can be dangerous to human health. These include various chemicals used in the manufacturing process that can cause poisoning or allergic reactions.
  • Biological factors. Microorganisms, viruses, and other biological agents that can cause infectious diseases.
  • Psychophysiological factors. Stress, monotony and overload, which can negatively affect the psycho-emotional state of employees, leading to a decrease in working capacity and an increase in morbidity.

What are the factors:

  • A dangerous production factor is a factor in the production environment or the labor process, the impact of which can lead to injury or death of an employee (Article 209 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. Basic concepts).
