Labor protection regulations on ships and vessels of Inland waterway transport

Labor Protection Regulations on ships and vessels of Inland Waterway transport (Order No 886n of the Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation dated December 11, 2020)

The rules on labor protection on ships and vessels of inland waterway transport apply to employers (shipowners), crews, including ship‘s medical personnel, ships and vessels of inland waterway transport flying the flag of the Russian Federation, in operation, sedimentation, repair, reconstruction, regardless of their type and forms of ownership, registered in in accordance with the established procedure, with the exception of vessels engaged in fishing and auxiliary vessels of the Navy.

The rules also apply to:

crews of offshore floating platforms;

other persons staying on the ship to perform their labor (official) duties (employees (employees) and government civil servants of state bodies, employees of the Federal Autonomous Institution Russian Maritime Register of Shipping and the Federal Autonomous Institution Russian River Register, transfer teams of industrial enterprises, researchers, teachers of educational organizations, cadets of educational institutions organizations that practice swimming.
