In June, Russians will have a three-day working week

From June 12 to June 15, a weekend is planned in connection with the celebration of Russia Day. June 11 will be a shortened working day.

The holiday has been celebrated since 1994, and the status and name “Russia Day” have been in effect since 2002. Today, this day is associated not only with sovereignty, but also with national unity, history, culture and civic identity. Patriotic events are held in many regions, and the country’s flag and anthem are becoming symbols of the unification of the Russian people.
